10/18 - 6:30pm What Is Magic? Part One

What is Magic, and why do we play with it anyway?

Why do we find ourselves drawn to it? How is magic used? Is it a religion, spirituality, culture, or what? What am I doing when lighting my candle? We'll explore these questions and more. This will include a hands on opportunity to encounter Pulling Spirit, infusing this energy into your spells and object.

This workshop will be offered in three independent parts. Part Two will be in November and Part Three in December. It is not necessary to take all three.

This workshop will be lead by Tommie StarChild and the cost is $35.

10/19 - 6:00pm Myztic isle Halloween Party

​We're having a Halloween party, and you're invited! We'll have Aura Photography and readings available to you (at a special discount). And bring your tarot and oracle cards, pendulums, runes or other metaphysical tools - we'll be setting up tables and inviting everyone to come and practice reading for each other!

This is a free event (apart from Aura Photography and readings)! Hope you can join us!

10/20 - 4:00pm Practical Tarot (Major Arcana Part One)

Lisa is wrapping up her Practical Tarot Series with the first of two classes on the Major Arcana. You don't need to have taken any of the previous classes to attend this one (and if you did miss the other classes, you'll have a chance to take those again soon).

This class is led by Lisa Kessler and the cost is $20.

Since it was just John Lennon's birthday, I'm using a special deck I created based on his artwork. John called this particular piece "One Day At A Time". It's a jogger turning to wave as he run through Central Park. This is a reminder to take things as they come, without allowing too much of your energy to be focused on the future or the past. Be present.
